A:AnswerNot sure what your question is, however, if you were trying to find out if this device will help with the signal strength and/or quality. The answer is absolutely yes!
A:AnswerOnly on the WIFI, this will not boost signal strength for wireless services as in the signal from your phone service provider. It will help if you use your phone over wifi and you have signal issues in different areas of the structure that you use the wifi in.
A:AnswerI also have a log home. I’ve had no issues with this. My garage is probably 800+ ft from the house and I have wifi at the garage. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerYes, though when you change campgrounds you will have to reconfigure this device, I would recommend that you purchase a different brand with a better app/user interface if you are going to move around.
A:AnswerDon't know what starlink is, however, this device should work with any WIFI network as long as you have an actual WIFI router in your network setup.
A:AnswerNo, this will probably not help that weak signal. Check with your carrier and see if they have a different SIM card that will use a different set of cell towers. We did that for my mother's phone and it solved the problem.
A:AnswerYes. I have the AT&T modem and it works perfectly. I mainly used it to extend my wifi down to a new basement office. I have it wired directly into the modem for fast speeds.
A:AnswerIt will create a separate access point while also boosting the signal. If you want a single access point, then your best bet is to get a WiFi mesh network.
A:AnswerI've only owned this extender for about a month, and I don't use powerline ethernet. However, this extender is designed to use your router's wi-fi signal to extend and enhance that signal in other parts of a home, building, etc. Unless the location on your third floor is a considerable distance from your router, it can most likely be setup without the ethernet extender or by a direct ethernet connection to the router or a switch. On the other hand, if the distance prohibits that, I would think that using your ethernet extender as a backhaul for the wi-fi extender should work although the setup could be a little different in which case you'd want to visit the Netgear site. Hopefully, someone will chime in who's actually done a similar installation. Hope this helps at least a little.
A:AnswerThe only noticeable boost I've seen is directly connecting (cat cable) into the unit. Going wireless to wireless typically will not boost your signal. Would recommend 2.5 ghz vs 5.0 due to longer range.
