Q: QuestionThe only internet service that I have access to is ATT - DSL. I would like to know if this modem/Router will work with ATT/DSL. I looked online and it states I need the Night Hawk 1900 - D7000. This one doesn't have anything listed.

• A:Answer This is only a router, not a DSL modem/router. It works great attached to my cable modem, but it doesn't include the modem portion of what it sounds like you need. If you already have the DSL modem, then it should work swimmingly.

Q: QuestionI have Xfinity internet and TV, using the router which Xfinity gave me. That router has a cable tv connection, with a cable wire plugged in. Can I substitute this Netgear router? If not, do you have any other models to suggest?

Q: QuestionI am currently using my cable providers wireless router and I can only connect 16 devices to it at a time and the only way to get another device after 16 is to restart the router and reconnect everything. Will I be able to connect more than 16 devices?

• A:Answer This should be able to attach 254 devices total. I have probably 32 or so devices in my "access control list" and they come and go as my kids come and go. If you need to attach wired devices, those come out of this same pool, which I assume is big enough for your purposes. There are 4 or 5 wired connections available on the router. For more wired connections, you'll need to add a switch, which I did.

• A:Answer I use it in place of my Viasat router, should work. If you have WiFi on your Verizon router could possibly be a conflict Between WiFi’s. Ours works great.

• A:Answer You certainly could, but a switch is probably a cheaper solution, if you're only looking for wired connections. This would depend on the router you'd be attaching the switch to.
