Questioncan I leave it on 24-7?

- Answer I wouldn't leave on, I only turn mine on when I need ice however, I keep a couple bags of ice in the freezer. When this ice maker is in the on position ice is being made, so if you want to make ice 24-7 leave it on but understand that you have to add water and empty the ice basket through the day. It's not a commercial ice maker

QuestionSomeone asked if this unit was self cleaning and the company answered that it wasn’t. If it’s not self cleaning, how come in the description it says it is self cleaning. Is it or is it not self cleaning? If it isn’t please remove from the description.

QuestionHow frequently do you need to change out/drain the water? i.e. you only use it on weekends so would you need to drain the remaining water on Sunday for use when you want to make more ice the following Friday? Or is it safe to the leave water?

- Answer Water should never sit more than 24 hours if not in use. Recommend refilling and cleaning at least 24 hours before use.

QuestionDoes it produce ice like the sonic ice? I found one that does, but it's on a dock in china! It was alot less costly, but because of the Corona virus my shipments have been delayed. Do you have a countertop ice maker with sonic type ice in your store
