A:Answer I asked my son in law this same question when he installed my dash cam earlier this month (March 2021). My dash recorded a horrific accident that I was a victim of from a red light runner at 3:30pm in the afternoon. I survived, but my car is totaled. Anyway, my son in law told me that you can simply touch a button on the dash cam to save an incident if you want to, but it does not display the cabin facing recording because it would be too distracting when driving.
