- Answer The Internet is only required for remote viewing on a Smart Device and for automatic updates. If you do not connect to the Internet, make sure to check the device's support page for the latest updates.

QuestionI have a wnip2 and I can not get the 2 way audio to work. I have texted your chat team on 3 occasions and did everything you team ask me to do reinstalling software, checked all switches ect. All 3 times I wore out, no answer. Please Help!

QuestionIt looks like the power cord has a built-in transformer at the plug, is this suitable for exterior exposure? I would be plugging it into an exterior outlet that has a shroud to shield it from the weather.

QuestionThe system the base would be next to my wireless router inside the house and the cameras outside would be approximately 20 feet away, should I expect good reception under these conditions?

- Answer It may have issues depending on what is between that 20 feet, and how strong your wireless router is. It should have good signal, but some objects can possibly mess with the signal. Good way to test is to take your phone with data off and see how well your wifi signal and speed is at in the specified location.

- Answer Yes, it typically stores about a week of videos. It depends on if it is recording full time on 10 cameras or if it is just recording sensor on some, full time on others.

- Answer The wireless specifications nowadays can be confusing. If you didn't get your answer, ask it again & ask if it's compatible with WiFi 6 (802.11ax). However, it should bc WiFi 6 uses 2.4ghz & 5ghz. I don't think either will be a problem bc it looks like nvr would connect to your router via Ethernet cable & the cameras probably connect to nvr directly (adhoc), even without a router. I think the night owl rep thought u were referring to cellular 6g which is not in place yet.

- Answer The cameras record directly to the pre-installed hard drive. They do not require an SD card unless they are standalone cameras. You can use any brand SD card.
