A:Answer Thank you for the question and happy to help. You can connect directly to the DVR via the included mouse and HDMI out cable if your computer monitor has available input. To use your computer to access and control the system entirely you'll need the DVR wired to the internet to access though. For optimal security the system creates it's own secure connection to our servers and those require internet to access via other device (mobile, tablet, computer).
