- Answer Yes. Since it’ a dvr system. All clips are stored and processed into the DVR box. You must hooked to the internet though. You can see your clips and live video thru a smartphone night owl app or you can download the night owl CRM app on their website.

QuestionOnce I have everything hooked up correctly and app downloaded can I view what the cameras see from anywhere on my phone without internet and without wifi . I have neither at home or at work

Questionwill this setup function even if the electricity goes out.....with the exception of the recorder

- Answer The system does not come equipped with battery back-up. Therefore, if the power goes out, the unit will shut off until power is restored. You can purchase an APC Battery Back-up to connect the unit to. This will guarentee power to the unit in a power outtage and serve as a surge protector as well.
