A:AnswerThe number of shots that can be taken with fully-charged battery varies with the condition of the battery, temperature and how the camera is used. Battery Life (shots per charge) 550 shots.
A:AnswerThe Coolpix s(_)cks! I was GREATLY disappointed in my coolpix S70 touchscreen. It is a peice of junk. Very discouraging how bad and blury the pics turn out. Even though the Coolpix is a Nikon, I just bought the Nikon D3100 a couple of days ago. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. The D3100 is awesome. I am in love.
The Sony NEX 3 and 5 are pretty cool, small, good quality, etc. But lens availability is not good and the telephoto lens is about 3 times more that the Canon or Nikon. It's a pretty cool camera though.
A:AnswerIt was in Auto although we did try it in manual too. It seemed to work if we werent looking through the LCD display and just used the standard viewer. In the store the LCD view would follow someones face and adjust focus but it didnt work that way at home. I just purchased the camera yesterday.
Thanks
A:AnswerCamera, eye cup, veiwfinder cap/cover, lens, charger, battery, NO USB CABLE. Buy the bundle, it's on sale now. The telephoto lens is only $99 bucks!
Awesome camera!
A:AnswerYou can switch the view to the LCD using a small lever called the 'Live View Switch' on the back of the body, next to the LCD. This switch is also used to get to video recording mode on the D3100.
A:AnswerFrames Per Second is stated in the manual as:
Up to 3 fps (manual focus, mode M or S, shutter speed 1/250 s or faster, and other settings at the default values).
I have read that the memory system buffers the data so actual write to the media is slower. After a long burst you would still be writing to the media for some time after you finished shooting. That part is forum information, not from the user guide.
