QuestionIs my new D7200 nikon compatible with Tamron Di II 18-270 lens that I used for my older digital d90 nikon? It does hook up to the d7200 & seems to work. Am I ruining my d7200 nikon? The previous answer wasn't correct. Older nikon was not film camera.

- Answer The Nikon D7200 is fully compatible with the following type of Nikkor lenses: AI, AF, AF-S and newer E-types. It also has a limited compatibility with Nikkor AF-P type lenses. This camera model doesn't have a setting for macro so if you're interested in macro photography you might want to look into a dedicated micro lens such as the Nikon AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G lens or the Nikon AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED lens. Micro Nikkor lenses will allow you to get stunningly sharp close-up and macro images up to life-size (1:1 reproduction ratio) and are great for other types of photography too. QuestionI have a bunch of Nikon lens for my Nikon ftn from the 70's can I use them on the 7200? I know that the auto focus and exposure won't work but that is not a problem for me

- Answer While there are a number of differences between these two camera bodies, the major difference between them is the number of AF points each offer; D7200 gives you up to 51 points as compared to the 11 points of focus that you get on the D3200. Another difference is that you can get 6 frames per second at full resolution on the D7200 as compared to the D3200 which offers 4 frames a second in continuous mode at full resolution. Lens compatibility for each camera is different. - Answer Prices are good, but the 70-300 lens without vibration reduction is useless. I recommend going with an 18-140 lens instead of these two lens kit.
