- Answer It does not have Slacker radio. It does however have Chromecast audio built-in. So you could cast Slacker to it.

QuestionMy theater room is set up with for 6.1 channel system I have built in speakers and adding an additional rear surround speaker is not trivial. Can this receiver be be set up to play in 6.1 mode? Maybe I connect my rear center speaker to both rear suround

- Answer The 6.1 one for this receiver is front (left/right) surround (L/R) and rear (L/R).

- Answer Not sure your asking if the speakers would work on this but I have the acoustimas and they sound better than on my old receiver once i bought the Onkyo. I am very pleased with the whole thing.

- Answer different sources can have different pre-amp volume resulting in some being louder than the other.

Questiondo all the HDMI inputs have the pass through feature? or just the 4K/3D input?

- Answer All of the HDMI inputs are compatible with the V1.4 standard, which is the level needed for 3D and most of the surround audio formats. Ports 1~3 are meant for 4K Ultra HD devices, but are compatible with ones that are not 4K specifically. Pass-through for 3D and most audio formats should be enabled across all ports.

QuestionWhen playing zone 2, is the sound broadcast through all zones or just zone 2?

- Answer Just zone two. I believe it can send two different signals to two different zones simultaneously. The only limitation is I think zone two cannot be full surround.

- Answer This will not work with bluetooth speakers. The bluetooth functionality of receivers only allow you to connect to smart devices (phone, iPad, etc) and send audio to the receiver.

- Answer This receiver does have RCA connection listed for phono so it should allow hooking up your phonograph (record player) to it. I personally do not currently own a record player to try it out though. If the volume isn’t up to par when you do connect it, you will need to consider buying a pre-amp device to assist in proper volume of album playback.

- Answer I had a similar problem. First, use the remote that comes with the system, I initially used my harmony and I had problems. Make sure that you have the system wired correctly (I had my negative and positive on one speaker wired in reverse and it cause a problem with the calibration, also make sure that all speaker have the same ohm impedance. Second if you do not have zone 2 wired, put it on not act, I didn't think that this was important and I did nothing. If you do not have a bi-amp put speakers on normal and set accordantly. Next make sure your speaker configuration is correct. This where I made the mistake of not doing it accurately. Look on the screen and make sure that the speakers look the same on the screen as they do in your room. I do not know if this will help your problem, but it did for me. Dance Master
