A:Answer Yes! I had my car broken into and that's how I came across this dash cam. Traditional dash cams have a lot of flaws: mainly they only have a single, forward-facing camera. It can see 180-degrees forward, but if someone breaks into your front or back door windows, it's often out of view of most dash cams (from experience). Additionally, this dash cam runs off your ODB port, so its constantly powered even when your vehicle is not running. Once again, most dash cams use USB which is a flaw because you have to go buy a massive mophie-type battery to power them if you want them to record when your car is parked and that in itself may make you a target to a break-in if someone noticed the battery pack (not to mention I always have fears being in a state that easily has temps over 100 degrees in the summer about batteries expanding or exploding due to excess heat). Lastly, the LTE allows for cloud storage for video events so if someone were to notice your dash cam and steal it they would be extremely upset to find there's no SD card to destroy and they're most likely busted.
