  • QuestionI have a Pantex K1000 with an assortment of lenses. Is there a chance to convert it to digital?

    Asked by Fritzy.

    • Answer Are you asking if you can use your old Pentax K lenses with the Panasonic GH6? YES! You actually can, however you will need an adapter, but you can get a simple one for cheap. Search online for a "PK Lens to M4/3 Adapter". Also keep in mind the GH6 uses the M4/3 (micro four thirds) format, which has a 2x crop factor, so all your old lenses will be a lot more "zoomed in" than they were on your 35mm film camera. If you have some wide angle lenses in your assortment, those will be your best friends on the GH6. Lastly, and this goes without saying, but many modern features like auto focus won't work while you're using vintage lenses.
