QuestionI would like to know if this control need an especial battery because every single battery that have been used never last more than a day. I bought more than 2 years and I haven't be alble to use it because of battery issue.

- Answer I’ve only had to change the batteries once about 6 months ago and have had the remote for a year now. Sounds like it maybe something with the remote.

- Answer I don't think that it is compatible. I think you have to buy a remote that is made specifically for the Playstation 3.
