- Answer You absolutely can add more bulbs to the kit. As long as you stick with Hue Bulbs you wont have a problem at all.

QuestionI have 2 hub kits, I want to use 4 bulbs on one side of the house and 2 on the other side but I can't disconnect the bulb from one hub to show on the other. I have tried adding the bulb via the # on the bulb and other things on internet but nothing works

- Answer Running two hue hubs is a serious pain in the neck. Id recommend using a single hub and ensuring that you have sufficient wifi coverage to reach all of your bulbs in lieu of running two hubs.

- Answer Hue devices don't use Wifi but other frequencies in the 2.4 Ghz range through Zigbee (chip and antenna). The hue bridge has to be connected by LAN wire to your router and you will need Wifi to connect your phone to the bridge through your router to send commands via Zigbee to the lights.

- Answer Philips Hue 2.1 version of Bridge unit. It updates the firmware when installed to the latest in both bridge, bulbs, and switch. Works perfectly. So much FUN!
