- A:Answer They are not password protected out the box but you can definitely make them password protected by simply using any encryption software like bitlocker, veracrypt etc.

Q: QuestionI bought five of these and have been bitterly disappointed that I can't plug them into my TV or BluRay and watch movies as mp4 files. I use my computer too copy the movies onto the flash drives -- no problem. But my devices simply don't recognize them.

- A:Answer Had the same problem. I had not pushed through until I heard the click. Once I did that, the thumb drive showed up on the screen.

Q: QuestionBought this product. Runs on Windows 10. The drives to not show up on Device manager or anywhere else. Do i need to format the PNY product before using it? Help!

- A:Answer I didn't need to format any of them. One was simply defective: did not show up on Device Manager so couldn't format anyway.

- A:Answer Other types will depend on your device or speed. Newest mobile phones (NOT sure about Apple) uses USB-C as well as newer laptops. Check your device for proper compatibility.
