The Sport 5.5 is smaller, measuring 55x33.5x68 inches in use (15x55 belt size), 65x33x28 when folded. The Carbon TL measures approx 65x35x73 in use (20x55 belt size) and 67x35x38 inches when folded.
The latch system is different for these models. The Sport 5.5 latch system is a pull pin whereas the Carbon TL has a kick latch with easy lift shock. Aesthetic and design features like this vary between the two models.
They have the same motor power, mph, and incline range.

A:AnswerNo you can you use it in manual mode all you have to do is once you power it on you press and hold down the ifit logo on the dash for 10 seconds or less and the screen powers up to manual mode.

A:AnswerOurs was delivered in the factory box by 2 individuals. Delivered lengthwise it is about a foot thick and a little over 3 feet high. No problems with getting it in any door.
Decide if it is to be assembled in place or assembled elsewhere then moved into location as ours. I assembled with some spousal assistance and located it into a nook with about 12 inches of room to get by the console.

Our Carbon TL Treadmill does not feature onboard workouts, it can connect to the iFIT system which provides thousands of various workouts or it can be used in the manual mode. iFIT does have various free workouts that can be used without a paid membership.
Our Carbon TL Treadmill and our Sport 6.0 Treadmill are very similar when comparing the motor and features. The main differences are the appearance of the units as well as the size. The product footprint of our Carbon TL Treadmill is 73” L x 35.24” W x 64.39” H with a step-up height (the height of the deck from the floor) of 7.30” where our Sport 6.0 Treadmill footprint is 73” L x 35.2” W x 57.5” H with a step-up height of 8.10”.

Our Carbon TL Treadmill does not feature EKG sensors, although the console on this unit is compatible with Bluetooth smart heart rate monitors. This will allow you to see your heart rate while exercising as well as using the ActivePulse technology.
