• A:Answer Purple switches are clicky and loud, while red switches are linear and silent. Reds are .5 faster then the purples, which are 1.5. So reds are better for gaming, and so are purples.

• A:Answer RAZER optical switches, which actuate with light. There are two configurations for this keyboard, either clicky optical (purple), or linear (red). The current keyboard configuration you are viewing is the clicky optical (purple) This might be limited depending if Best Buy has them for options though.

• A:Answer I have tested with my One X and it works fine. Also it includes a 10ft cord or something close to that length. It is detachable so if you need longer or shorter you can use any usb c cable. Just note the usb c port is recessed so some usb c cords with fat connectors might not work.
