QuestionCan it be installed on a Hyundai Accent 2009 Sedan? The Car Fit option on the Best Buy website says that it will not fit. However, the previous model (Rexing M2) fits fine. Any idea what's different in Rexing M3? Is the information correct?

- Answer Hello! I do not see why it would not fit! The rear view mirror for this vehicle seems to be of standard size so the dashcam should fit just fine.

- Answer Hello! The cord is 18ft which will fit the vast majority of vehicles. However, if you need a longer cable, you can get one off Best Buy or other vendors.

- Answer Hi, Yes, the M1 power cable and rear camera are cross compatible, so you can keep the set up you have and just switch out the M1 with your M3!

- Answer This is true for the backup camera wire, even for a small car such as a Nissan Altima. If installing rear camera by the license plate, you must either buy more cable or install it through the roof covers where you have air bags in the way. It is safer to install through the floor, but the included cable does not reach the back.

QuestionShould I be able to leave it in parking mode all day and night? Or will my battery die? If not, how long are we allowed to use the parking mode?

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your message! The Parking mode feature is only activated when it is hardwired and the device senses vibrations like collisions. Otherwise, the device will remain off, so the parking mode feature will not kill your vehicle's battery.

- Answer Hello! If the rear camera's red cable is spliced with your reverse light wire in your vehicle, you will get access to the rear camera when you put your vehicle in reverse. It will remain in place as long as the red cable is receiving power.

QuestionIm just looking for a back up camera without yanking out my mother's radio. But i need this to be a completely functional rearview mirror. How good is this as auto dimming or reflecting bright head lights from behind? Could it just activate in reverse?

- Answer Hello! This unit does not have auto dimming but it has a button where you can turn on/off the display when needed. You can also connect it to work as a backup camera by connected the red cable to your reverse light wire.

- Answer Hello! Since the M3 has transitioned to use the USB type C it is possible, you may need to at least purchase a MINI usb female to male type C cable. However, it is possible the M3 you get will be a MINI usb one.

- Answer Hello! There are 2 hardwire kit, there's the smart and the intelligent. Both hardwire kits allow for the the collision detection but only the intelligent has the motion sensing capabilities. Please note that the prices depend on from where you purchased it from and if there are any sales. I would encourage you to check Best Buy and our website for the latest prices. However, a typical smart hardwire kit goes for $15 and the intelligent for $39.

- Answer Hello! Please note that the dashcam is designed to fit as many vehicles as possible. Therefore, we typically say as long are your rear view mirror is not tiny, it should fit just fine!
