• A:Answer I had to abandon my google based hub for the Amazon version Alexa. It was a tough decision because I love the google integration with my phone. But the Ring was head and shoulders above the competition and offered monitoring, so Amazon echo it was.

• A:Answer No, you have option to setup with the monthly service. You just won’t get monitoring from professional services which means if system goes off no one will contact local police for you, you’ll have to do that yourself.

• A:Answer short answer (Yes) the device will send an alert if it’s tampered in any way. If window or door was opened, or tampered. But you need to set up your alerts and when installing you will identify each device by naming it. (Office door, bathroom window, etc)

• A:Answer We have experienced up to a 6" opening before the chime sounds and have noticed a delay in the sound every once in a while. Try calling Ring to get their input. They are great and will walk you through testing and resolution.
