QuestionWhat happens if someone tries to enter by breaking a window or glass door? The sensors won't work for an opening, so does it listen for glass break as well or is there something you can get in addition to listen for that?

- Answer Hi neighbor, using the Alexa Guard feature, you can connect your Amazon Echo device to your Ring Alarm and detect the sounds of a smoke alarm, CO alarm, or glass breaking. Alexa will then notify you about the event. Best, The Ring Team

- Answer It has a battery but it’s recommended to leave it connected. The key pad can be charged and move around the house with no wires which makes it easier.

- Answer It provides the ease of being able to know that windows and doors not in sight of the your two cameras are protected. I have two cameras as well but that doesn’t protect the entire property.

QuestionI would like a model that doesn't involve a monthly fee? Is there such a product? I'd like it to record the coming and going on a recorder, no sirens, no talking to whoever is at the door, and NO monthly fee!

QuestionI want to set up a video monitor on our garage to monitor when we aren't home. However we have 2 large dogs if the alarm system is armed will the police be called each time the dogs walk by ?

- Answer Unfortunately, they say a 35 pound animal will trigger the motion detector. But my 20 pound Pomeranian always triggers ours. For our RING security system, we have to arm our home as HOME when we leave. If we set it as AWAY, the dog sets the motion off. For the flood light camera out in the back, the sensitivity can be adjusted to not pick up people or large animals. Mine is set to pick up everything, so i always see alerts at 4am when the neighborhood raccoon or opposum makes their rounds checking trashcans.

- Answer There is a setting under each sensor in the app that allows you to turn on delays of like 30 seconds. More than likely you have a device set to instantly go off when the security is set to AWAY mode. So if you have a back door that the family never uses, its great to set that one for instant. Seconds matter if your home is broken into.
