A:Answer The performance of the camera varies greatly with ambient lighting. During the day, it sees well over 150 feet with pretty good clarity. Beyond 150 feet, you won’t make out faces of people, for example. At night, things get pretty grainy. The only things that show up well are those objects directly illuminated by the floodlight. In my case, the range is reduced to 50-60 feet.
