This is dependent on a number of factors in your home environment, such as the weather and the number of activities captured. You only need one battery for your Spotlight Cam Plus to work properly. However, if you want extended battery life or don't want to experience any downtime charging the battery, a second battery is available for purchase.   • QuestionDoes the connectivity with WiFi work with 5G Home Internet?

    • Answer All these surveillance cameras work with wi-fi signal, put out by your router. Most routers put out either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. The Spotlight Cam Plus works on 2.4 GHz, my Ring Doorbell works on both, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Check which router you have, before you purchase any cameras.

The device's battery level may vary based on the amount of direct sunlight the solar panel receives. It is important to ensure that your Ring Solar Panel is installed correctly and that it is receiving enough direct sunlight to operate as intended. For best performance, Ring recommends at least two to three hours of direct sunlight for the Ring Solar Panel. With the recommended amount of direct sunlight, the device will remain continuously charged under most conditions.     • Answer Hi RickyP. Thank you for taking the time to ask this question. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus has two 3000° K spotlights. Ring devices can detect motion up to 30 feet with the motion sensitivity slider at the maximum level. If you turn motion sensitivity down, this range will be lower, decreasing false motion. If your device is missing motion, increase the motion sensitivity using the slider. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus has an 140° horizontal field of view and an 78° vertical field of view. It can be angled slightly left, right, and down, allowing you to adjust the camera's view to focus on the desired area. We will cover your eligible device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use. Under the extended warranty terms, your Ring device may be eligible for replacement if it experiences electrical or mechanical failure during normal use.     • Answer Any of the ring products use Alexa as a third-party so the answer to your question is yes they do tie in. I have the echo show 5 and two echo show eight and the echo dot. They answer to your question absolutely without a doubt if you have any other questions for me, I would answer them honestly with my experience and I’m not tech savvy. I also have ADT, but I feel safer with the ring products that tie in to my Alexa and if you have a fire stick device on your TV that also ties in.
