• There are several Ring products that can/are battery operated. The battery charge lasts about 6 months and can easily be recharged.

• Yes, the Ring Video and Video 2 can run off battery packs that I've read last about 6 months. You will need to also purchase the Ring Chime if you want a chime sound in your house. Otherwise, you will only get phone notifications. The whole system must have wifi to work, however.

• Yes there is. Both the original ring & the ring 2 are wireless. And also, use batteries. The ring pro has to be hard wired. But if your a handy person would recommend the ring pro or ring elite.
