- Answer I believe so, but you should probably just look into the "Ring Peephole Cam" instead. It replaces the existing peephole, or you can just drill a new hole. Super simple, and the battery pack is inside the house, so easy to change/charge. Model: 8SPPS9-0EN0 SKU: 6379205

- Answer According to Ring support the device is manufactured to work in extreme cold. However, I did find a few online reviews (mostly people in Canada or far North USA) saying they had trouble in coldest weather. But I also found a few saying it worked fine. Your mileage may vary.

- Answer This particular one can not, you need a door bell. But Ring does make one that can be used where there is not a door bell.

- Answer If I understand your question correctly, you are wiring power to this device which has built in wifi to connect to your home router. Basically, this is connected to the power wires from your old doorbell (which the Pro replaces). Once that is done, you then go through the process of wirelessly connecting the Pro to your home router via wifi.
