A:AnswerDid you use the special samsung adapter in-line? I did not add the little samsung adapter the first time because the instructions were not so clear to me at first. Once I added that in-line with the main adapter it worked right away.
A:AnswerApple TV.
All you need from your TV is HDMI connection in. The wireless connection would between your router and Apple TV device then via HDMI cable to your TV.
A:AnswerNot all phones / tablets are MHL capable. Also try using the plugging your phone in with the extra small connecting thing and without it. Because that small thing is supposed to be the gateway to using older devices and newer ones.
Also make sure your TV or DVD play doesn't have a spcific HDMI port for MHL
A:AnswerI wish I could answer all question here about MHL connectivity. This is a very cheap alternative from portable device to TV.
90% percent the answer would be no.
It's a hit or miss. When it comes to MHL connection is very bad because it is not standardize. You will have a better luck on Google's ChromeCast or Amazon Fire TV or Apple TV or Roku. I'll give you a hint - From a Samsung cable to Samsung device to a Samsung TV wouldn't even work properly. What more with a different manufacturer.
A:AnswerOnly with Samsung's HDMI adapter.
In case you need a better option, use ChromeCast HDMI adapter or Roku HDMI adapter, there is one more but I couldn't remember what.
