QuestionHow do I get my iPhone 5 to sync with the Micro Bluetooth 2.1 EDR AdapterI'm trying to connect my iPhone 5 to the RocketFish Micro Bluetooth 2.1 EDR Adapter so I can sync it up to send and receive sms messages from the computer itself. It has the little phone display but just sits "Connecting..." and on the bottom right it says "Disconnect from message access server". Won't ever connect or load. WHY?! HELP!!

- Answer I actually fixed it. I had the Bluetooth plugged into the back of the computer with too much interference. I plugged it into the front of the computer in an open USB port and it connected everything instantly!

Questionproblems pairing bem wireless speakerI have 2 different HP laptops I have tried this on. Both laptops are 64 bit one runs Windows 7 the other Windows 8.1. On both systems I have gone out to the http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php site to download and install the latest driver. Neither laptop will pair with the bem wireless speaker (http://bemwireless.com ... Model #HL2022B) even with the speaker inches away for the plugged in Bluetooth adapter. Any ideas on how to get this working?

- Answer The software needs to install properly before it will pair. If it continues to not pair, you can call us at 1-800-620-2790. Be aware that if you can see the Bluetooth options on your computer and it just won't pair, then more than likely the adapter is not the issue and you would need to contact the computer manufacturer or BEM for support.

Questionadapter paired, speakers set as default playback, no sound :-(Bluetooth installed correctly and paired with Eton Rugged Rukus. Rukus is checked as the default playback option and Windows "test" sounds play fine, but all music/video playback (e.g., iTunes) still plays out of the laptop speakers. The only sounds channeled by Bluetooth to the speakers are Windows chimes, beeps, etc. Does anyone know how to get audio playback to actually channel via Bluetooth? (If it's important, the adapter recognizes the speakers as "headphones"....) Thanks!

- Answer It sounds like a setting in iTunes. Since the regular Windows sounds are coming from the speakers, it does sound like an issue specifically with iTunes. There is a possibility that Windows has multiple settings for audio output, but that would vary depending on which version of Windows you are running.

Questionwill it make my samsung smart tv blutooth enabled to connect to my blutooth speaker?I've Samsung smart tv but it doesn't have blutooth on it, I do have a blutooth speaker from jbl charge. Need to know if I can use this on my TV's usb port to connect to jbl blutooth speaker? meaning will it work as blutooth transmitter for my tv?

- Answer I doubt it, that adapter is for computers and not all blue tooth's are the same. I have the adapter in question and it works with one of my playtronics headsets but not the other. It also doesn't work with my blue ant headset. Different blue tooth devices work on different frequencies.

QuestionPairs but does not connect with BT audio receiver (XP)I am using this device in conjunction with an Aluratek AIS01F Bluetooth Audio Receiver connected to my stereo. Everything appears fine in Device Manager. The Rocketfish adapter detects the receiver and **pairs** with it. But it will not **connect.** The receiver's instructions say "make sure the audio output is set to [the receiver] for audio streaming." But Windows XP's Sounds and Audio Devices Properties > Audio tab > Sound playback/default device lists only SigmaTel Audio, as do all the other relevant dropdowns. HOW DO I GET THE ROCKETFISH ADAPTER TO APPEAR AS A DEFAULT DEVICE OPTION IN THE DROPDOWN? Thanks.

- Answer The RF-MRBTAD will not appear in there as a default device. It is a communication device, not a sound device. You should be looking for Bluetooth audio as the default. You may need to contact the computer manufacturer to determine what the actual audio device is.

- Answer You will need to purchase a bluetooth transmitter to plug into your TV. I'm not sure what type of TV you have, so it is hard to recommend what will work with your system. There are a few options out there, and if you go into Best Buy, someone should be able to point something out that can help you, based on your TV model. I attached an option that is available, just so you can see what one option would be, but this is not the only thing available.

- Answer No. I went online looking for updated drivers. Never could get them to install. I asked Geek squad at the store. They didn't know of a solution. I ended up returning the product.

- Answer You are only able to have 1 device actively connected at one time over Bluetooth. Once you connect and start using a second device, the first becomes inactive.While it will stay paired, it will not be able to play the audio until you make it the active source again.

QuestionRepeated installation errorI'm trying to install on my desktop. Installed OK on my laptop. I keep getting the message that the driver was unsuccessfully in stalled. Try rebooting computer and try installation again. Tried this several times and keep getting the same message. I'm using SetupBtwDownloadSE.exe and Windows Vista. Can anyone help? Larry in AL.

- Answer You should just be able to click on the Bluetooth icon and connect them each time. There might also be an option in there to connect automatically. There should be no need to go through the whole pairing process again.

QuestionI would like to wirelessly connect my bluetooth laptop to an LCD projector.Is this the product I want? I just purchased an HP Split x2 -- which is a laptop / tablet combo. It is bluetooth enabled. Would this be the best product to show Powerpoints, word documents, and show websites? I am a teacher and would like to project things as I pace my classroom. Please advise. I've been to Mall of America, Epson, and tech people everywhere to figure this out and I get different answers.

- Answer I would try pairing other devices to your laptop to see if it can see them. If not, then try plugging the adapter into a different USB slot. Make sure there is a flashing light on the adapter. Try pairing the JBL speaker to another device to see if it will pair that way. If none of that works, then contact either us or JBL for further troubleshooting assistance.

- Answer In order to use this adapter, you have to use it with a bluetooth-enabled device. Therefore, if your smart TV does not have bluetooth, no, it would not provide you with bluetooth. In other words, No, it would not work.

QuestionMy Logitech H800 wireless headset will not pair with the Micro Bluetooth EDR adapterI am trying to pair the headset with the Bluetooth adapter and the two never connect. The software loaded correctly for the Rocketfish unit so I am not sure what is wrong. I can pair the headset with my Iphone 4 with no problem. My pc is running Windows7 Ultimate in 32bit mode with 8gb of ram and an I3 processor.

- Answer I'm sorry to say that this is more than likely an issue with the computer. Our device plays no part in the pairing process. All it does is allow the communication to happen. Since your computer and headset can see each other, we know that the adapter is working properly.

- Answer Not true, it works on mine. Your OS should automatically load the correct driver. The support there is terrible.
