A:AnswerNot really. TV and radio frequencies are different. If you are finding an improvment with radio when using this antenna its probably just because of the chord attached to your stereo. Better idea is to run antenna wire up a wall and then run horizontally for a few feet to maximize reception.
A:AnswerHi! To be honest, 50% strength/range is lost indoors and this is why is always suggested to set the indoor antennas as near to a window as possible or in a higher place like in an attic. Viri E. Insignia Support
A:AnswerAny OTA (over-the -air) antenna is easy to install. Just hook up the antenna coax to the back of the tv. You should have a coax connection marked antenna in or atsc. Next go to your set-up "settings" > set to TV or antenna> scan "all channels" > this takes about 10 minutes > your TV will tell you when it is done > newer TVs tell you how many channels you get and the strength of the signal on each station. If you need to keep the antenna farther away from the TV buy more coax and a joiner from Best Buy. The only bad part about OTA is no TV guide like cable stations have. GOOD NEWS IS THE PICTURE IS MUCH CLEARER BECAUSE CABLE COMPANIES COMPRESS THE SIGNAL!!!! There are digital recorder boxes that can be joined with OTA shows. AND there are stations that you cannot get with cable. Good luck- it is easy to set up!!! And you save a lot of money!!!!
A:AnswerHello Johnny,
You will have to connect the cable TV and DVR on a different input on your TV set (HDMI if possible)
The TV set can only search and lock the channels via coaxial input.
Hope that helps,
George

A:AnswerWhere is the antenna mounted? The Geek Squad agent who installed mine stated that it is sometimes necessary to mount the antenna elevated on the wall behind your TV. I haven't experienced any reception problems. Receiving twice the channels I expected in my area with this antenna. Try moving the antenna to an elevated spot or facing a different direction. I would also recommend research on signal strength specifications and speaking with Geek Squad Agent at your local Best Buy. I've found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful with technical questions. Hope this helps to solve your issue with the antenna.
A:AnswerNot sure, but when I scanned for channels, it found 31 HD and 0 Analog, so I’m guessing that either I have no analog channels in my area or the antenna only picked up HD.
