- Answer The answer is NO - that’s bologna! I use a normal HDMI cord and my Roku 4K works wonders!

QuestionWill the ROKU Ultra connect via HDMI to the amplifier that I use for my home theatre system? I only have one cable going from my amp to my TV but multiple sources (i.e. cable, DVD, etc.) going into the amp.

- Answer It should. I haven’t done it yet but saw instructions to do so by googling connect roku to surround sound or AVR.

QuestionDoes this Roku model allow me to access my Spectrum cable box library so I can watch my recorded shows, and see the guide for favorite channels that were set up on the Spectrum box? I currently have the Roku stick which does not allow me to do so.

- Answer It will do neither of those functions. Currently the only way to view recordings on a steaming device with Spectrum is to use an Apple TV and have your account coded for cloud dvr. The recordings will only be available on the Apple TV or other Apple TV’s in your home. You will not be able to view them on the cable box. Your favorite channels are set per cable box or streaming device. If you wanted to have the same favorite channels on all devices you would have to set them up on each box/device.

- Answer I would definitely buy the $99. version. The picture is the best. You may have to buy an extra short HDMI cable.
