QuestionWhat are the dimensions that the manufacture recommends for space around the unit? We have only 13" from our counter top to the bottom of our cabinets?

- Answer They say 8 inches above, 4 inches behind to wall abd 4 inches on each side, it needs room to vent.

- Answer HI Cartmanmark. I wouldn't know about any cookbooks; you may have to check with a local bookstore for that. But I can tell you, our User Manual has some recommended cook times and settings for different dishes. ^Jecca

QuestionWe're looking to replace the Sharp 900W convection/microwave that was in our motorhome. The dimensions are very nearly identical but it would be inserted into a cabinet. It would have ventilation in rear and underneath. Would it still be a fire hazard?

- Answer the instructions say it has to be well ventilated on all sides. there are vents on the sides and so I would not be comfortable with putting it in a cabinet where it wasn't well ventilated on the sides as well.

QuestionCan you toast bread in it just like any convection oven does? Is it small enough to fit in a dorm?

- Answer Yes it makes toast but a small toaster might be more efficient. It might be overkill for a dorm where you might just reheat leftovers and warm up coffee. Plus it gets hot when using the other functions and needs at least 4” space on top and all sides for air circulation, could be too big for a small cramped dorm room.

- Answer Not sure why Amazon wants us to comment on this microwave sale. We did not purchase this microwave from Amazon because it was not available at the time we wanted it. We went to best buy and a division inside at our particular best buy called Pacific Sales and bought the last one. We like it and would buy it again. The only cons to this oven is that it could be a bit bigger, and is a little noisy on startup, otherwise works well but good luck finding one!

Regarding your concern, this would not fit the oven as for the poultry 1.1 lbs. (2 pcs) or Whole Chicken 2.7 lbs is the one that can fit inside the oven. - Answer Try it without the crusty pan. Put the steak right on the tall wire rack and use grill. You’ll probably have to flip it just like under the broiler in your big stove, and put a plate under it to catch drips.

QuestionI have a wall mounted microwave shelf "cabinet" that is 17 inches deep. I know the dimensions of this thing say 19 inches deep, but I don't know where the "feet" are on the unit. Will this fit on my microwave shelf?

- Answer Typically the dimensions given do NOT include the height of the feet on a microwave. Sadly, I found this out the hard way when I bought a microwave thinking I had a 1/2 inch clearance to learning afterwards that I was over an inch too tall for where I wanted to put my new microwave.

QuestionHello. I've had this microwave only about 6 weeks and I really like it however I just put a small bowl of food in there to heat up and I heard a noise and thought what is that!? I opened the door and the glass turning plate was completely cracked in half!

QuestionCan you control in minutes only, or can I choose to set cooktime in seconds? My current microwave only does full seconds, and it drives me crazy!

- Answer only in seconds however it is very easy to adjust the time without having to first stop the cooking process. I believe the second part of your question could have an error? It can be adjusted by the second.
