QuestionWhat is the measurement from the floor to the top of the refrigerator drawer. I am wondering if the swing out door will clear the top of a counter that's 37 inches off floor.

- Answer 34 3/34" but it doesn't matter. The door only swings open about 120 degrees so it doesn't make contact with the counter. My counter is higher than 35" as well.

QuestionProper ventilationWhat is the size of the empty space (L X W X H) in which the refrigerator would be installed to allow for proper ventilation?

- Answer Hi Bonnie, The RF24FSEDBSR measures 35-3/4" wide by 68-7/8" high without the hinges and door (70" with them) and the case depth is 24-1/8". The hinge assembly extends back approximately 8-10" from the front of the Refrigerator. Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" on the top and sides and 1" behind the Refrigerator for air flow and ease of movement, so the minimum recommended cut-out if the enclosure is less than 70" high is 36-1/2" wide by 69-1/4" high by 15" deep. If the enclosure is over 70" high, the minimum size for the cut-out is 36-1/2" wide by 70" high by a maximum of 25-1/8" deep, keeping in mind that the Refrigerator should not be recessed into the enclosure beyond the point where the front edge of the case is flush with the front edge of the cabinets. I would suggest downloading the pdf copies of the Specification Sheet or User Manual from Samsung's website for illustrations of these dimensions, which may help to clarify. Thank you, Ms. Samsung

QuestionHow much adjustment is available on the leg extenders?I have to clear counter top with the door. I need 37 inches from the floor, to the bottom of the pantry door. how much adjustment is available in the leg extenders? will this fit into a 70 inch high opening, once we raise the legs?Thank you, Barb

- Answer Hi Barb, The RF24FSEDBSR has adjustable legs in the front for leveling, but they aren't designed to act as extenders for extra height, so I can't tell you whether they'll provide enough of a lift to clear your cabinet. The rear wheels are not adjustable. The height of the case (without the doors and hinges) is 68-7/8" and would fit comfortably under the 70" cabinets as long as their depth doesn't exceed about 14" since the hinge assembly extends back as much as 8-10" from the front of the Refrigerator. - Answer The Digital Inverter Compressors in Samsung Refrigerators are designed to be both quiet and efficient. The variable speed motor means that it operates at different levels depending on demand, so the sound level varies, as well. The maximum sound level should be no more than 45 decibels, which is about the equivalent of a quiet conversation at home, though it would typically be much quieter when operating at lower speeds. Keep in mind that noises a refrigerator can make may be related to other parts, as well, such as the ice maker. While the sound of ice dropping into the bucket may be audible, it's also something you can control by turning it off when it suits you. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

QuestionDoes this fit a standard 36" width and 70" height?*Also does anyone know shipping dimensions? My doorway is 33" wide. Finally, if it is a 36" wide cabinet will this refrigerator have any trouble opening to at least 90 degrees? How many degrees can it be open in a 36" wide cabinet space. Thank you

- Answer Thanks for the questions. The RF24FSEDBSR is 35-3/4" wide, and Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" on each side for air circulation and ease of movement. The height without the door hinges is 68-7/8", so should fit under your 70" cabinets. Ideally, the refrigerator should be installed so the front edge of the case is flush with the cabinets, so the doors can swing open freely depending on adjacent surfaces. The depth with the doors and handles is 31" so you shouldn't have any difficulty fitting through your doorway, though the doors and drawers can be removed if necessary to fit through narrower spaces. - Ms. Samsung

- Answer The ice capacity is very poor. The cubes are small, the ejection is slow and it only fills 4-5 glasses when it is full.
