• A:Answer TLDR - Yes. Detailed Answer - Windows 10 Pro doesn't like 5k that much and has scaling issues, but in 4k it's been pretty solid. My GPU supports both DP1.4 and HDMI 2.1 and can handle 5k res without problems, but depending on the app, you'll probably see scaling issues crop up more often than not when running in native 5k on windows. I especially had a problem when waking the monitor back up from sleep. maybe there's a 3rd party app option that could help with that, not sure. I bought the monitor to run with both mac and windows though... And for that purpose, it's clunky but works. The picture quality is great and the setup is simple enough, but you have to use either the samsung smart things app or the remote to switch between output ports or make any changes to the monitor using the built in "Smart" interface/UI (the clunky part). In my case, I have a DP 1.4 cable - came in the box, running directly to my PC GPU, and the thunderbolt cable - also in box - running direct to a thunderbolt hub. So far, so good. 4k is best for windows scaling, and letting the Mac do it's thing is best for Mac depending on how much space you want to work with vs distance to clealy read text. 27in might be a bit small for true 5k, but the monitor does support 5k on both windows via the dp1.4 cable and on mac via the thunderbolt port with the right ports and gear.
