A:AnswerTry turning off sound bar. With a small point like a paper clip press in the pairing button on the back of subwoofer do not release at first blue blinking. Continue to hold it for 10 seconds. Example, blinking blue to red and blue then blinking blue continue to hold count to ten then release,. With remote hold mute button for 5 seconds. You should then see the connected message, turn power on sound bar.
This worked for me after a couple of hours following instructions.
A:AnswerMine "pops" too.... seems to be a design flaw from Samsung, because there are reports of this all over a Google search... Haven't found an exact answer, but someone claimed to have gotten rid of it by "ensuring that it's paired on the 5hz and NOT the 2.4hz band". Now I just gotta figure out how to do THAT!
A:AnswerUnlike HDMI, TOSLINK (optical cable) does not have the bandwidth to carry the lossless versions of Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, or more than two channels of PCM audio.
A:AnswerIf the video and audio between the TV and your Soundbar are not synchronized, select AUDIO SYNC in Sound Settings, and then set audio delay between 0-300 milliseconds by using the up/down buttons (Except "USB" mode). Audio Sync is only supported in some functions. Page 17 in the User Manual
If that doesn't work with HDMI, why not use the digital audio out cable provided in the parts. I set mine up with digital audio, set the synchronization and it works perfectly even with the surround rear speakers. Good Luck
A:AnswerHow are you hooking it up I had the same problem at first then used an hdmi wire and went to sound settings and sure enough sound output, picked the one for the sound bar now enjoy watching tv and or movies, even music videos on YouTube
A:AnswerHello Ecofreak. How is the sound bar being connected to the TV (HDMI, AUX, Bluetooth, Optical)? Also, what is the TV that you are connecting it to (SAMSUNG, SONY, etc)? Please share the model number of the TV?
