QuestionYellow splotchesHas anyone had an issue with "yellow splotches" on the edges of the screen? I returned my first b/c of this and just hooked up #2! The most noticeable are 2 just above the "samsung" logo at bottom and no left and right sides about halfway up. Shows up over dark clothing or dark scenes.

- Answer This is back light bleed. You should have returned it. ALWAYS when buying a Samsung Lottery Panel, check the set for this by turning off the lights in the room and setting the back light to mid way on picture preferences and pause on a video with a black screen (like end credits) you'll see flashlighting/clouding on these cheap sets. You're better off with a Sony/LG.

QuestionWhat is 2160 p meanWhat does 2160p mean

- Answer 2160p is a resolution level (2160p, 4k, UHD, Quad HD all mean the same thing) like 1080p is. This means the resolution of the image is 3840 pixels across (wide) by 2160 pixels tall. (1080p was 1920x1080). For more information, I found this link to be useful. http://4k.com/resolution/

QuestionHow does the 4k upconverting work?I noticed mine will only show 1080p resolution when i press the info button. How do I get it to upconvert what i'm watching to 4k?

- Answer This depends on what you are watching. Lets say, you are watching live tv local news, if they are not using HD like resolution cameras for their tv show then no, you won't get the best picture quality. It's not the TV that's broken. If however, you are watching from a blue-ray DVD player and watching new movies like Jurassic World for example, then you can really see a huge difference in picture and sound quality. Very movie like, I swear. I hope this help.

- Answer You can only download apps from the Smart Hub. However you can mirror your Samsung device that has mirroring capabilities to your tv. That way you can use all your android apps on tv. And as for apple I mirror my laptop to my tv and like that i'm able to watch my iTunes purchases on tv but no games or apps

QuestionHow is the factory soundI have an older Samsung. Doing fine but tv shows now have so much background noise and music in them now I can't hear dialogue! My current ones stand makes a sound bar difficult. Will I need one on this ?

- Answer I have ran into the same issues, I would say 8 out of 10 times with older TV's. I have cured some by simply adjusting the equalizer setting on the TV, say 2 out of those 8. A good sound bar would be the way to go. I wouldn't elect to buy a cheaper one, if I have the budget that is. Working in this industry everyday for the last 13 years, I would say economically a Yamaha Sound Bar such as the YAS 201 or 203, would be the way to go. These sound bars will not only give you back your clear voice but have surround built in as well. Now if you have the budget I would go with a YSP2500 or the like.

- Answer You need to program your stb (set top box) remote to operate all your devices. If your stb remote will not do this then buy a remote that will. You will feel so much better about everything if you combine all your devices into one remote.p.s. make sure you use an optical cable between you tv and your stb or home theater system if you have one.

QuestionDoes type of internet service matter?Does the type of internet provider make a difference in how the smart tv functions work? We live in a rural area and do not have a cable internet provider. Instead we receive internet via a radio tower that is luckily directly behind our house. We have no real trouble with internet access for our computer work and rarely have trouble using Netflix through our bluray player. Our tv service is through DirectTV. Just wondering if anyone else has this sort of access and what your experience has been with this tv. Thanks!

- Answer We have Time Warner Road Runner Turbo internet and it works great with this TV. Other houses in our neighborhood have Direct TV and Dish satellite service and don't have any problems I know of. We get good Live Stream on Netflix with our TV. Hope this helps you.

- Answer Tony, Without knowing what your source is, it's hard to say. If you have a DVD player or SD cable/satellite box, try changing both devices (the box or DVD player) to 4:3 settings, and then the TV to 4:3 settings. For full screen, switch both the source and the TV to 16:9 or widescreen format. If you need further assistance, try reaching out to the Samsung customer service center. - Answer SUHD colors are supposed to be more rich and brilliant. It's not future proof it's just really the color pallette.
