• I was concerned about the same thing. I asked when I purchased the set and the salesman tried to convince me to buy a sound bar. I am 80 and midly hard of hearing. I am fine with the TV speakers. I do not need a sound bar.

• Yes is dose sound really good adding a sound bar would just add more treble and bass...

• I do use a soundbar, but used the TV speakers exclusively at first. I thought they were adequate and did not hear a buzz or sound at higher volumes. Ultimately, it depends on how picky you are. Most people would find the speakers fine. If you are looking for deep bass sounds, a soundbar/subwoofer is about the only way to achieve that.
