Asked by Mike Z.
- A:Answer The actual refresh rate is 120hz, however the 8550 has a "motion rate" of 240 which is Samsung's rating for the calculated refresh rate. If you are familiar with Samsung's old CMR (Clear Motion Rating), this Samsung as a CMR of 1600 which is top of the line for watching fast moving action or sports.

Q: QuestionWhere can I confirm the specs on this TV? I need to confirm that this TV is 4k 4:4:4, 10Bit, HDMI 3.0, and 4k Blu Ray Ready?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Samsung.com has the specific specs. No it not true 4k that's why Samsung states suhd on the boxes. It's resolution is only 3k x 2k, actual 4k is 4k x 2k which in reality is 8k, if you want true 4k, then you need a oled by Samsung but your looking at entry level of $10k. Not 3.0 sub only 2.0 but that is more then needed for uhd 4k. It is actually 32bit color if that is your question and yes it is blu-Ray ready.
