Questionwhat is difference between Q80 75" 2019 or the Q80 75" 2020 beside the stand speakers

- Answer DO NOT BUY LAST YEAR'S 2019 Q80 MODEL. The new model is so much better. The LED panel for the newer Q80 in 2020 has a tremendously better controlled LED array. The blacks are much richer and has so much more contrast than the 2019 Q80 model. This new one is 50% more capable and is able to deliver blacks that are very rich and whites that are brighter and more crisp. So, I planned to buy a 2019 Q80, but I saw the 2020 at a Trade Show. There is a big, big difference. No way am I buying last year's model. I am waiting and going to buy the 2020 Q80 right when it comes out, or right when it comes to my local Best Buy -- where I don't have to ship it.

- Answer Hi there! The "T" at the end of the TV model is signifying the year. For example, "T" models (Q80T) are 2020 models. The models with "R" at the end (Q80R) are 2019 models. ^Gina

- Answer Hi There, The 75" Q80T has a 400x400 VESA pattern. The mounting holes start at: 8.25" from the top 13.5" from the bottom 25.75" from the sides Thanks! ^Scott

QuestionCan anyone confirm Atmos support? The 2019 models allowed Atmos passthrough to a speaker if played from built-in apps like Netflix. Some reports indicated the new sets would allow more options, such as external Atmos passthrough through ARC. Is this true?

- Answer Hi there! On the Q80T, we recommend connecting your gaming console via HDMI 2.1 (port 4) and connecting your soundbar via HDMI eARC (port 3) so your soundbar turns off with your Q80T. ^Gina

QuestionYes I purchased a Sanus 42-90" wall mount with my new Samsung 75" Q80T the screw length which came with the mount are either too short or too long. Samsung calls for 26 to 28mm in length. Do I use the M8 x 45 with spacer for the back to attach brackets?

- Answer Hello Wallmounthelp, Yes, you will need 4 M8 screws, 39-41mm length, and 1.25mm pitch. If they are too short or long please use spacers .^Cristian

- Answer NatronMeans - The 2020 Q80T does not utilize the One Connect Feature. The 2020 Frame and Q950TS are the only 2020 models that do utilize the One Connet. ^Jason

- Answer No printed manual but under the settings icon on smart hub navigate to support and an e-manual is located there. For calibration purposes I would go online to rtings dot com. Notice there is no a in rtings. They have a complete guide to calibration of all settings including judder detailed there.

- Answer Hi there, The Samsung - 75" Class Q80 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV works great with any Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process is Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List. Connecting through WI-FI might be a better option as it might carry more bandwidth.
