- Answer I had the same issue. There appears to be an early failure problem with the power supply on the S90D 77-inch TVs. Failure typically occurs after 1 or 2 months use. TV won't turn on and the red standby light does not come on. Repair is pretty simple - replace power supply. But no guarantee that power supply won't fail as well. I chose to return my TV and go with a different model. Too bad because the picture was excellent while the TV worked.

- Answer Prem - On the 77" S90D, the distance from the top VESA mounting holes to the top of the TV is 24". The distance from the bottom holes to the bottom of the TV is 3.1". ~ Samsung Specialist

- Answer Dead center under the TV. Small little button. Also experiencing power issues presently. Initial Samsung repair visit took a week, still did not fix. Now I have to wait yet another week for them to hopefully fix it again. So, will be 3 weeks of non-functional TV that is just 4 months old.
