• Napoleon1957, This model will upscale DVD discs, but does not support Blu-Ray discs. Samsung Blu-Ray players will play Blu-Ray discs, DVD discs and even CD-Audio. If you're considering a new player, a Blue-Ray player would be the option that plays the most formats. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
