- Answer According to several tech sources...No. While it may 'fit', it doesn't have either the software nor the Gyroscopic Sensor required for it to work with the Gear VR. You would be better off buying one of the cheaper aftermarket 'VR' headsets if you just want to watch movies.

QuestionEvery time i put the headset on as directed in a room with lamps, Light comes in from the top and nose area. It's so annoying otherwise i like it. I read the directions numerous times to see if i was doing something wrong and i'm not and nothing is loose?
