• It was returned to Best Buy at some point. It was checked for proper performance and repackaged, not always with instructions.

• Mine showed up in a Geeksquad white box in new condition. It included all original accesories and I could not find any signs of use.

• Refurbished means probably previously owned, returned maybe, then checked/repaired yo be resold. I havent had any problems with the refurbished one i received.

• Refurbished means that the item was fixed and checked that it is working properly now. It may include replacing parts, but it could be something simple as a reboot of the system to factory settings. My purchases of refurbished geek squad items has been very good with no issues.
