Yes, it is rechargeable and it depends on your uses, settings, etc. It does have a power saving mode, I've used it for 3-4 days continuously on this mode. The "normal" mode will drain the battery in a day or two.

I get 2.5 - 3 days out of a charge, and I use mine quite often to read texts/emails. However, I have made it to the 4 day mark a couple of times with very low usage.

I personally use many of the features on a daily basis and the baterry will last at least 2 days. You will get an alert when the baterry is low and you have the option to switch to battery saving mode.
