Q: QuestionMy Samsung HW A550. This sound bar keeps disconnecting bluetooth by switching from Bluetooth to D.IN automatically. It will connect and pair from my phone and then just cut out. I've tried hard reset and my power button on the speaker won't work. ???

• A:Answer You might want to look at positioning anything between you and the sound bar? that could be blocking Bluetooth or are you in a bad Bluetooth area? Is your phone up-to-date? There it could be a lot of reasons for for dropping a Bluetooth signal and sorry to say we the consumer are generally at fault when it comes to proper connectivity. As for my 550 I’m not experiencing that problem.

• A:Answer I not 100% sure because I purchased my soundbar solely for the purpose of using Bluetooth to operate it, so I never paid attention to the "wired" connections on it, and currently its placed somewhere that's not easily accessible for me to look at the back of it. I'm sorry However, my owner's manual does say it has a "HDMI TO TV(ARC)" on the back of the sounbar, and it gives instructions on how to connect in D.IN mode, ARC mode and HDMI mode

• A:Answer Hi JuanP! If connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, the soundbar will automatically switch to the ARC input instead of the digital optical connection. Either remove the HDMI connection to the TV allowing the soundbar to utilize the optical connection from the PS4, or connect the PS4 direct to the TV allowing the sound to pass through the TV to the soundbar. You can adjust the Audio Sync by pressing the Sound Control button on the remote.
