I was unable to find if this monitor support HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color, but there is a possibility that, that technology could be called something else within the Samsung monitors. The G7 has a feature called Input Signal Plus that expands the input signal range from connected devices. There are also additional HDR settings under Game> HDR Tone Mapping if the content you are watching is in HDR.

• A:Answer Check the display settings on the PS5 and make it Automatic rather than any specific color or hdr setting. Also, see if you made the fps setting on the monitor to high or extreme so that you get the best of it. But make sure you have some light source in the room where you use it, that alone fixed a lot of saturations issues.

• A:Answer Thank you for your question! I would recommend that you verify that you are using a HDMI cord that supports the bandwidth needed for HDR, that input signal plus is turned on. (Settings, All Settings, Connection, External Device Manager, Input Signal Plus) Also check the Game HDR Settings. (Settings, All Settings, Game, Game HDR).

• A:Answer Thank you for your question! As for VRR support the Odyssey G7 supports both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is G-Sync Compatible. As for HDR this monitor supports the top tier of HDR which is called HDR10+ Gaming. This monitor appears to be a perfect fit for what you are looking for.

Q: QuestionFairly specific question here, but what is the width of the base at its widest point? Looks to be a few inches narrower than the monitor itself. I'm planning to purchase and want to assure the stand I purchase for it is just wide enough to stably sit.

• A:Answer From tip to tip on the widest point it’s 21 inches. It’s a very sturdy monitor and I have a narrow desk space so even if it wasn’t tucked in all the way the monitor is able to balance itself very well. I pulled out the monitor to help show how well it balances in its own. Hope this helps.
