A:Answer No this model does not support magnetic boundary tape. Not even Samsung ones. However you can fool it by putting a black rug or carpet strip in front of the area you don’t want it to visit. Most robot vacuum can not vacuum over black carpet since they detect a cliff or drop off. This model will map your room but does not use it the next time.
It’s still much better than any low end Roomba that keeps banging into objects randomly and get stuck. I have not been able to get this Samsung R7040 stuck with blankets, clothes, rugs, throw pillows, furnitures or floor mats.
