Samsung Soundbars: HW-M360, HW-M450, HW-M550, HW-M4500
I have three HW-N650 sound bars installed and they work perfectly with the SWA-8500S remote rear speakers. I can not attest with certainty about any other sound bar model. That said my sound bars were not listed on the Samsun website compatibility list, but they obviously are and were the only Samsung remote rear speaker carried by Best Buy that were compatible with mine. Since the HW-M450 sound bar IS listed as compatible I think it is highly probable that the HW-N450 speaker are also compatible. One way to get better information is to walk into a Best Buy store that sells the rear speaker set and ask their Samsung expert to confirm your question one way or the other. It is possible that the HW-M450 is a misprint and it should read HW-N450. These speaker were on sale heavily discounted at Best Buy probably because there are limitations on compatibility or it's near end of the line for this series. If these are compatible with your sound bar they are a very good buy right now and given their discounted price, they perform better than my original expectations for watching movies, listening to music, etc. and add another dimension to the panoramic sound coming out of this series of sound bar.
