- Answer If you have a usb input and are able to format the drive first, then you are able to use it and transfer from any usb dr input. Cell phones, computers etc

QuestionCan I use this to move files from a computer to a laptop? I am computer illiterate.

- Answer Yes you can. When you put the usb drive in your computer it will ask you if you want to format the drive, just say yes. After the drive is formatted you can now transfer you files to the drive. Open the drive up then create a folder for your files, then transfer your files from your computer to the usb drive. Hope that helps

- Answer Yes you can but, it can be a little tricky you have to own a lightning dongle to usb port and have it format it to what the iPhone reads then you have to somehow get the photos into files and upload them to the drive.

- Answer if you would like to know exactly, contact the manufacture. It's not too fast because it's USB 2. And also it's a cheap device. But it does a good job. For a higher speed you need USB3 Or not satisfied yet? Get the SSD for much more $$$

- Answer I'm not an expert but it might be that you are using either a very-very high raw picture resolution setting on your camera, or you are taking Live Photos on an iPhone? Live photos are actually 3 second videos obtained automatically directly before and after when you depress the shutter. That function is on by default on my iPhone 7 for instance. Even at very high resolutions you still should get 500 pictures on 32GB drive ...IMO.

QuestionI have a 6 month old HP notebook and now windows is telling me there is a new download needed but there is not enough memory to download. It needs at least 8 gig to download.Also says it will not support the version of windows anymore. HELP

- Answer Go to system tools and disk management. This will help you clean up room on your hard drive. So you can download an update. If you still can't figure it out there's links on YouTube to show you how to do it. Hope that helps

- Answer AMaxie, I know the frustration you are feeling. I have several thumb drives (USB) and a Stereo System that is supposed to accept USB, Micro SD and when I tried to use them in it, it wouldn't read them as well. I found out after a lot of research the music I had on the drives had to be individual songs and not in folders and for my particular system either Mp3 or 4 format. Most of my music is in the wma (Windows Media Audio) format. I would suggest reading your vehicles user manual to see if it gives you any info on how your system read usb thumb drives. It may be that if the drive has been formated NTSF (for Windows Operating Systems) it may not be recognized. Is the drive new right ot of the package? I wish I could be of more help. I hope this helps you though. Gary

- Answer I copied all the files on the Cruzer to a folder on my computer in case I wanted them later, then reformatted the drive to what I needed.
