A:AnswerI don't know for sure about installing this outdoors, but the finish on it doesn't look like it's intended for outdoor use.
Metal studs should be plenty strong enough to support a large TV. Just need to use the correct fasteners to mobilize the full strength of the studs.
We have this installed in our living room, and it works great.

A:AnswerNo vertical movement. Just tilt angle and can turn side to side. You may wish to look for a mount that can go above a fireplace that has a pull down feature.

A:AnswerTo my knowledge, you will need to purchase a separate universal sound bar mounting kit.
The Geek Squad installed this one with my Sanus Mount.

A:AnswerHi Daniel, I can't say for certain without knowing some more info about the wall. Does it have wood studs to secure the mount to? Is it solid concrete or brick? To be sure I'd recommend reaching out to SANUS support at [email protected] or calling 1-800-359-5520. Thanks, Nate @ SANUS
A:AnswerHi Laurie, This stand should be compatible with a 85" Samsung but I can't say for certain without knowing the model number. To be sure I'd recommend reaching out to SANUS support at [email protected] or calling 1-800-359-5520. Thanks, Nate @ SANUS
A:AnswerHello,
This mount is compatible with TV's up to 95", has a max weight capacity of 175lbs and works with VESA patterns 200 x 200 through 600 x 400 so it should be compatible with your TV.
Thanks,
Nate @ SANUS
A:AnswerAttached mine to 1 (one) stud. Rock solid! If I had a heavier screen would have done 2. A bit of overkill for a 65" 32Lb. ocled screen. Great product! With the pull out and swivel I can view from kitchen to Lanai and anywhere in between.
