A:AnswerActually, it's not. After buying it (but before trying to put it on the wall), I ended up calling Sanus for something else and they told me it wasn't compatible with the Sony XBR-43X800e. They said the mounting holes on the back were too close together. Confirmed it here: www.sanus.com/en_US/mountfinder/ So... returning this to get another. I guess crowdsourcing doesn't always work...
A:AnswerI can swap provided screws with shorter lag screws, 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 in length, but will this be enough of an anchor? When I installed the current mount (5yrs ago) that is what I had to do. Obviously no issues, but this is a larger TV (albeit not much heavier), so I just want to be sure it is enough.
A:AnswerThe main bracket is mounted to the wall and the slots are long enough so you can pick up a stud if you can. The brackets that go on the back of the tv have multiple holes so it’s no problem finding the mounting holes on the set. The brackets then just snap on to the main frame and your done. You can slide the tv on the bracket to center it on the wall.
A:AnswerHello There James,
For a corner installation, I'd actually recommend one of our full motion mounts, like those in our BLF series. For a full list of mounts that will work with your TV, just plug your model # into our mountfinder tool here;

A:AnswerI used this product to hang a 65" Sony. It went up very easy with little time. As far as hanging on a log cabin wall, I would say it would be possible as long as you could mount in the center of the log at the top and bottom. If the logs are to far apart it will not be possible.
A:AnswerBobb,
What did you end up doing? I just bought the 55" 930. It's stinking heavy. Got the bracket on the tv and ready to do the wall bracket but not liking the off set.....there will be close to 4+ inches from the wall in the fully closed position. Not slim by any means.
A:AnswerHello Joshua,
This mount is indeed compatible with your Samsung!

A:AnswerI would recommend laying the tv flat on a padded surface, lay the mount on the tv (don’t install it yet) and measure the distance from the bottom of the tv to the mounting holes. Take that dimension and transfer it to the wall and you should be good to go. Remember: measure twice and install once!
A:AnswerHi Blanca,
Given the size of your TV, I would recommend the BMT or BXT tilt mounts instead. For a full list of mounts that will work with your TV, check out the mountfinder tool here: http://mf1.bestbuy.selectionassistant.com/. Thanks!
