The stand does not include a power button of its own, so it will not interfere with the Mac mini’s power button location on the bottom of the unit. The hub draws power directly from the Mac mini through the built-in USB-C connection and does not require any external power source or adapter. As it allowed me to drop in a 1 terabyte SSD drive as backup and i purchased a ultrafast 256 gig Thumb drive to move saved file to Thumb drive from old MiniMac to than upload to new mac. So this saves you some 400 dollars for a 512 GB SSD that apple wants.

• A:Answer Hello, We can confirm that the Wifi interference issue has been addressed but any customers still experiencing issues are advised to reach out directly to [email protected] and to include their order information. The transfer speed supported by the NVMe enclosure and two of the front data ports (1x USB-A, 1x USB-C) support 10Gbps transfer speeds. The enclosure is designed to best be suited for external storage or as a Time Machine backup. We do not recommend using the enclosure to boot an operating system. We hope this information helps!
