Questionwill it work in a Dell studio XPS 8100?My Dell Studio XPS 8100 came with two Barracuda 7200.11 9JV138-034 1.5 TB hard drives set up in a RAID config. When one of the drives went bad I decided to install to Seagate 2.0 TB drives PN 9JB1N3-576 drives. I have not been able to completely install my windows 7 operating system with the disk that came with the computer. Do you have any advice?

- Answer Yes it will work. You will only get 1.5 TB from it though in your RAID 1 configuration. You might be able to setup the other 500GB as an additional logical drive but I'd advise against that if running RAID 1 - you might slow down your read/write access for the Mirror - ie. just deal with the loss of the 500GB and see if that 1.5TB drive doesn't fail next and then get a 2TB to replace it and use a program like Symantec Ghost to resize your Drive to 2 TB if/when you replace that 1.5 TB with a 2TB.

- Answer it will not work internally on a ps4.. however if you buy the 3.5" HDD ps4 housing it will work just fine. The ps4 HDD is a 2.5" this is a 3.5" drive.

- Answer First, you would want a Laptop/Notebook hard drive to ensure it fits the size requirements, so the desktop sized hard drive would not fit. The standard PS4 hard drive is a 500GB 5400 RPM SATA II hard drive. You can replace this hard drive with any hard drive that complies with these standards, is no thicker than 9.5mm, and is larger than 160GB. Note that 7200 RPM and Hybrid hard drives may work but are not officially supported or recommended, and their effects on power drain are as of yet undetermined. The whole process will take about 10-15 minutes to swap out. I like to use Google and Youtube for walkthrough's and advise on things I am not sure about. - Answer If you need a bigger hard deive, but want to keep os, program and files you can do it yourself. Go to Maintenance, windows Backup and make a full backup of your hard disk, including a bootable cd, then replace hard disk, boot from cd and restore your image on new bigger disk.

- Answer laptop and desk top uses different sizes in the size of the drive! Desk tops fit into a 3 1/2 " slot. LAptop is much more slimmer.
